Dr. Loeffler and her assistant did a wonderful job helping me feel comfortable during my visit while diagnosing and performing the procedure to remedy my tooth issue. They took special care to make sure I was always comfortable. They answered all of my questions and completed the procedure with minimal discomfort. In my four years of being a patient at Hamby Family Dental, I have never had any trouble getting an appointment and the waiting room times have always been reasonable and short. All of the staff have always been happy and friendly.

I had a small issue with an old filling that needed to be corrected in old tooth The old filling was replaced with no problems or pain. Hamby Family folks are fantastic. Meet Our Dentists

Meet Dr. Hamby

Dr. Hamby grew up in Durham and pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a dentist at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He believes dentistry should always remain patient-focused, and he enjoys building relationships that allow him to provide personalized care in a family-friendly setting. Dedicated to serving his community, Dr. Hamby has volunteered with the North Carolina Dental Society Missions of Mercy Clinics, the Baptist Dental Bus, and even traveled abroad on mission trips to provide dental care. Outside of the dental office, he enjoys time with his wife and two children, sailing, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Meet Dr. Loeffler

A native of Cary, Dr. Loeffler earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UNC-Chapel Hill. She joined Hamby Family Dental Center in 2017 after practicing in Charlotte, eager to return to the Triangle area. Passionate about both science and art, she finds dentistry the perfect blend of her interests. She stays current with the latest dental technology and cosmetic dentistry services through memberships in the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, two sons, and their Goldendoodle, Reyna.
